June 27- Mante

It was an alright week. Elder Murga is a lot different than Elder Ortega, but I feel like we understand each other better, as in habits way of being or train of thought. He is 22 and was in the mexican army for a little while, when people asked me what happened to the other comp and whos the new one i tell them that he Ortega went the new place and this is my new comp elder Murga, he was a soulja but now he ´s one of Gods Soldiers! I think he gets a kick out of that.

We had a some what rough week finding people and that. and my toe got infected again and i callled the hna. Call and she told me to go get er fixed already and stopped waiting to see if i can do it, so tommorow were going to go check it out what the docotor says.
were getting ahold of some bikes, we took one home from a member last night thats going to let us borrow it, it only needs a chain and a seat and a tire, and then Karem and her family is going to let us borrow one that they dont use, but i think its in better condition. Were actually working with her family a little bit more, her brother thats 13 will more than likely the first one to be baptised from them, and the dad is starting to warm up to us a little more now and were going to try to teach them all.

Arnoldo is a 26 yer old that has 3 little girls and his girlfriend took their kids about 3 months ago and left him because hes been so bad with drinking and that and weve been teaching him for almost two months and has progressed alot, he was going to be baptized last weekend but the day of the interview we showed up and he was drinking with his friends, it nos desanimò but he still wants to quit and change his life. i like teaching and talking with him because he reminds me of some few people i know back home and he has a small ranch outside of the city that he goes and works with his dad and it always makes me laugh to see him dressed up in his work cowboy attire and to think thats what we wear back home on the farm.
I love this place, even though its not that pretty and doesnt have much, except for alot of problems, President Call has called our zone the pride of the mission because it has completely taken a 180 degree turn in the past two changes than what it has been.
