June 11, 2012

helo helo helo helo helo
Yep, two weeks more and ill be on a plane, possibly vomitting and on
my way home to the United States of America, to good ole West Weber
where old George still is King.
We had a baptism with P, a 54 year old man who has been
recieving us for about 2 months.  we had some pretty cool experiences
with him, he told us about a month ago , we showed up late one night
at his house and told us it was late, but dont worry, soy uno de
ustedes, pertenezco con usteds.  It was a neat experience with him and
his baptizm, he asked that the bishop baptize him and that made the
bishop excited as well.  P is really humble and thinks twice
before he opens his mouth, hes had a habit for a few years to read the
bible every morning at 6 am before he goes to work, so when we
introduced the book of mormon, he never had any problem completing the
reading assignments that we left him, and in the church one week they
gave him the gospel principal manual and george albert smith manual so
he started reading a little bit of everything and loves it all.
in the shoots for this weekend we have F, hes about the
same age, he use to be very arrogant, he reminds me alot of the crowd
that you see with the weber county farmers, cowboys and everyone.  he
works for the state regulation of insects in the farmers fields in the
state of tamulipaus.  he was working one day in a small town called
Aldama and the branch president of Aldama has his ranch and they came
accross each other and started talking and the branch president told
him hes a member of the church and long story short he taught him how
to pray, testified that the gospel would help fransisco and his family
and after a "2 to 3 hour hard talk" in the words of francisco, he
accepted to listen to the missionaries so he talked with his neighbor
, a sister in the ward to send the missionaries on over, and that he
wanted a Book of Mormon.  this all happened about a month ago and now
he´ll be baptized father day weekend.  funny side note, his wife tried
getting him goieng (molesto) with accepting the gospel, and asked him,
so if your going to get baptized, whats going to be your new name?and
he replied with a smile and in broken up english "Frank Smith"  thats
awesome that your helping Erri know more about the Gospel, it will
bless his life and his families so much.
I love you all, I´ll write you one more time, i think and its coming
to an end super fast, I almost cant believe it.
Elder Hobbs
